\n It was Anna who persuaded her husband to have a child. When they finally decided together to start trying it turned out that she had polyps in her uterus. They had to be removed surgically. This delayed their plans for a long three years. Then further health problems arose that they had not expected. Peter had poor semen. - \"At first we thought it was very bad because my husband had no sperm in his semen,\" says Anne. - \"We talked, considered various possibilities. As a last resort, we were ready to use a donor\". - they recall.\n <\/p>\n
\n \"We came to InviMed in Gdynia, where the doctor decided that we had to take all the chances for our own genetic child first. \"I had one testicle removed because of an inflammatory tumour that had destroyed it. It wasn't known whether the other one would take up the job and it would be possible to get sperm from it. At the last minute, just before the IVF itself, it turned out that they were there and there would be enough for fertilisation. And it worked! With the sperm thus obtained, we were able to proceed with in vitro fertilisation. Amazingly, it was successful the first time! We were given two embryos, one accepted,\" says Peter. After nine months, their beloved Anielka was born. They plan to have another child.\n <\/p>\n
\n When asked what they would tell other trying couples, they say: 'Don't let them delay. Often men are reluctant to get themselves examined. It is the women who go to the doctor to look for the cause in themselves, and in many cases it happens that the problem lies with the man. We waited too long.\"\n <\/p>\n
