Therefore, if you are trying to conceive a child and your semen parameters slightly deviate from WHO standards, you can try to improve them with the right diet. If it involves <a href=\"https:\/\/invimed.pl\/en\/insemination\/\">insemination (IUI)<\/a> or in vitro fertilisation (IVF), it is also worth fighting for higher sperm quality - the more motile and normal sperm in the ejaculate, the better for male fertility. To <a href=\"https:\/\/invimed.pl\/en\/badanie-nasienia\/\">improve sperm quality<\/a> and strengthen your sperm, you need to eat healthily!<\/p>\n<p><i>Remember, always in the context of trying for a child, regardless of the result of the semen test, it is advisable to consult an andrologist who, depending on the specific case, can recommend effective pharmacological treatment, surgery or appropriate supplementation.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Consult an InviMed nutritionist<\/h3>\n<p>The quality of sperm can be improved with a tailor-made, individualised fertility diet. The pro-fertility diet, for both men and women, excludes ready-made products, fast food, sweet drinks, confectionery based on hydrogenated vegetable oils and stimulants: alcohol, nicotine and intoxicants. Such products are best eliminated - and not only when there are problems with conceiving a child or maintaining a pregnancy. A healthy, balanced fertility diet should accompany anyone wishing to conceive a child or planning to expand their family.<\/p>\n<p>A properly composed diet should take into account energy requirements, food intolerances, lifestyle, a person's culinary capabilities and rely on unprocessed foods. In the case of a fertility diet for a man, it is worth including ingredients such as:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lentils - are a good source of folic acid, which protects sperm from DNA damage,<\/li>\n<li>Purple fruits and vegetables - contain anthocyanins, which are powerful antioxidants and counteract sperm damage,<\/li>\n<li>Pumpkin seeds - contain zinc, which affects sperm viability and testosterone production,<\/li>\n<li>avocado - contains glutathione, which has antioxidant effects, and folic acid, which affects DNA methylation,<\/li>\n<li>broccoli - contains coenzyme Q10, which affects sperm motility and is also an antioxidant,<\/li>\n<li>Red and green vegetables - are a source of vitamin C, which improves semen quality by preventing damage to sperm,<\/li>\n<li>tomatoes - the lycopene contained in them has an effective effect on new cell formation processes,<\/li>\n<li>fish - the L-arginine found in fish plays an important role in immunology and the release of hormones that improve sperm quality,,<\/li>\n<li>salmon - a source of omega-3 fatty acids and selenium, which is also an antioxidant and affects sperm motility. Salmon is also a source of vitamin D3, which influences hormonal balance,<\/li>\n<li>Animal protein - this is a source of vitamin B12, which affects sperm count,<\/li>\n<li>Whole-grain products - are a source of fibre, which lowers the glycaemic index of the diet and influences proper hormonal balance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Diet to improve semen quality<\/h2>\n<p>The daily menu presented below has been prepared by a dietician - Adrianna Barczy\u0144ska of the InviMed infertility treatment clinic in Katowice. The menu is designed for approximately 2300 kcal per day for a man over 30 years of age who leads a sedentary lifestyle (e.g. works at a desk) and would like to improve semen parameters.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>BREAKFAST TO IMPROVE SEMEN QUALITY<\/h3>\n<p>OATMEAL WITH PEANUT BUTTER AND BLUEBERRIES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Peanut butter - 30 g (2 x teaspoon)<\/li>\n<li>Blueberries - 100g (Handful)<\/li>\n<li>Oatmeal - 60 g (6 x Spoon)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method of preparation:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pour boiling water over the flakes and set aside to swell.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in peanut butter and sprinkle with blueberries.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/p>\n<h3>A SECOND BREAKFAST TO IMPROVE FERTILITY IN MEN<\/h3>\n<p>SIMPLE SALAD WITH PUMPKIN SEEDS, WHOLE WHEAT BREAD<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pumpkin, seeds, shelled - 20 g (2 x Spoon)<\/li>\n<li>Wholemeal rye bread - 60 g (2 x Slices)<\/li>\n<li>Apple cider vinegar from ripe apples - 3 g (1 x teaspoon)<\/li>\n<li>Ground black pepper - 1 g (1 x pinch)<\/li>\n<li>Basil (dried) - 1 g (0.25 x teaspoon)<\/li>\n<li>Oregano (dried) - 1 g (0.33 x teaspoon)<\/li>\n<li>Canola oil - 5 g (0.5 x Spoon)<\/li>\n<li>Radish sprouts - 24 g (3 x Spoon)<\/li>\n<li>Cucumber - 120 g (3 x Piece)<\/li>\n<li>Red peppers - 80 g (0.5 x piece)<\/li>\n<li>Tomato - 120g (1 x piece)<\/li>\n<li>Lettuce - 10g (2 x leaf)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method of preparation:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix the oil with the vinegar and water. Add the spices and mix thoroughly.<\/li>\n<li>Slice the vegetables and mix them with the sprouts and dressing.<\/li>\n<li>Eat with bread.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/p>\n<h3>PRO-FERTILITY DINNER<\/h3>\n<p>PASTA WITH SALMON AND PARSLEY PESTO<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunflower seed 10 g (1 x tablespoon)<\/li>\n<li>Whole-wheat pasta with rye, pigs 80 g (1 x glass)<\/li>\n<li>Parsley, leaves 30 g (\u00bd bunch)<\/li>\n<li>Garlic 5 g (clove)<\/li>\n<li>Lemon juice 6 g (teaspoon)<\/li>\n<li>Olive oil 5 g (teaspoon)<\/li>\n<li>Salmon, fresh 150 g (serving)<\/li>\n<li>Black pepper (pinch)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method of preparation:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cook the pasta according to the recipe on the packet.<\/li>\n<li>Put the parsley in a bowl, add the garlic, a teaspoon of lemon juice, sunflower seeds, olive oil and pepper, blend with a blender.<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle the fish with lemon, sprinkle with pepper, steam or cook in a fat-free frying pan. Divide the finished fish into pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Add the parsley pesto and fish to the pasta, mix all together.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>AN AFTERNOON TEA TO IMPROVE SEMEN QUALITY<\/h3>\n<p>FRUIT SALAD WITH NUTS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apple 150 g (1 x piece)<\/li>\n<li>Banana 150 g (1x piece)<\/li>\n<li>Kiwi 75 g (1 x piece)<\/li>\n<li>Strawberries 100 g ( 10 x piece)<\/li>\n<li>Walnuts 35g (1x handful)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method of preparation:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Peel and chop the fruit and mix with the chopped nuts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/p>\n<h3>DINNER FOR MALE FERTILITY<\/h3>\n<p>SANDWICHES WITH FRIED EGG, AVOCADO AND SPINACH<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wholemeal rye bread 60 g (2 x Slices)<\/li>\n<li>Whole hen eggs 110 g (2 x piece)<\/li>\n<li>Cheese, Mozzarella, fat-free 30 g (2 x slice)<\/li>\n<li>Spinach 20 g (handful)<\/li>\n<li>Avocado 40 g (1\/4 piece)<\/li>\n<li>Tomato 60 g (small piece)<\/li>\n<li>Radish 15 g (piece)<\/li>\n<li>Dill 5g (teaspoon)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method of preparation:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Prepare the sandwich ingredients- wash and dry the spinach or lettuce and the rest of the vegetables. Slice the vegetables and mozzarella, chop the dill.<\/li>\n<li>Saut\u00e9 the egg in a non-fat frying pan, preferably prepared under a transparent lid. Fry to the desired consistency.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange greens on the bread, top with avocado slices, mozzarella, then a fried egg and garnish with vegetables and dill.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/p>\n<div>It is worth remembering that a good, nutritious diet is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. By including wholesome products in your daily menu, you can improve the quality of your sperm, influence sperm motility and, as a result, increase your chances of fatherhood.
