Hymenoplasty is a procedure that involves suturing the folds left behind by a ruptured hymen. The hymen reconstruction procedure takes between 20 and 60 minutes, and is performed under local or general anaesthesia. The healing time takes 2-3 weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Procedure for hymen restoration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The essence of the hymenoplasty procedure is to fold the mucosa, stretch it and suture it in such a way that it regains its former form. The procedure is relatively uncomplicated, but requires appropriate preparation:<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n <\/header>\n

    in the two weeks preceding the operation, do not use vitamin E, anti-influenza or anti-cough medicines, acetylsalicylic acid or its derivatives, as such preparations may increase bleeding during the operation;<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n

    Before undergoing hymenoplasty, the patient should talk to her gynaecologist about her motivation to undergo this procedure. It is also necessary to assess her general health and intimate health, so a gynaecological examination (it is very important to exclude the presence of vulvovaginal inflammation) and a cytological examination should be performed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Contraindications to the hymenoplasty procedure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
