Infertility affects women and men equally. This is why the doctor orders the appropriate tests for both the partner and the woman at the first visit. These are carried out in parallel, allowing the further treatment of the couple to be planned precisely. The most common cause of male infertility is poor sperm quality - this can be reduced sperm quality, reduced motility or structural abnormalities. In order to check male fertility and assess the condition of the sperm, a semen test, or spermiogram or seminogram, is performed. This is a basic test of fertility in men, which is carried out using modern technology and thanks to the experience of laboratory diagnosticians at the Invimed clinic in Warsaw.
