Ministry of Health has added new guidelines to the government's IVF funding programme
The Ministry of Health has addressed additional guidelines to all clinics implementing the health policy programme entitled Treatment of infertility involving medically assisted procreation procedures, including in vitro fertilisation carried out in a medically assisted procreation centre, for the period 2024-2028.
The Ministry of Health has responded to concerns about the Programme
Following the launch of the new Government Programme to reimburse infertility treatment, many doubts and questions arose both among patients and among doctors qualifying couples for the Programme across Poland. The Ministry of Health addressed the implementation in its letter:
- Preimplantation diagnosis
- Applications of frozen ova
which are described in detail on the Programme eligibility page.
The medical information presented should be considered as general guidelines and does not replace the individual judgement of the doctor regarding the medical management of each patient. The doctor, after a thorough examination of the patient's condition, determines the extent and frequency of diagnostic tests and/or therapeutic procedures, taking into account specific medical indications.
