Diagnosis of female infertility
Tests are ordered by the doctor on the basis of a detailed medical history and selected so as to detect the cause of infertility as soon as possible and to select an appropriate and effective treatment method.
All commissioned tests can be performed at the Invimed clinic.
AMH test (evaluation of ovarian reserve)
The AMH hormone test, or ovarian reserve test, allows a woman's fertility to be assessed.
FSH
The FSH hormone is responsible for the normal function of the reproductive system in women. It also helps in the diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome.
SONO HSG
It is an examination that checks for irregularities in the structure of the uterus and the patency of the fallopian tubes. With the help of an ultrasound scanner (USG), the flow of a special fluid (foam) in the woman's reproductive organs is observed.
Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is an examination that allows the structure of the uterine cavity to be assessed and adhesions, polyps and myomas to be removed.
Cytology
Cytology is an essential test for diagnosing cancer and pre-cancerous conditions of the cervix.
LBC liquid cytology
Liquid cytology is a modern and more accurate cytological examination for the diagnosis of cancer. The differences for the patient are not perceptible in any way.
Thyroid profile
TSH, FT4, FT3 are performed to exclude thyroid diseases that prevent pregnancy. The determination of hormone levels is performed from a blood sample.
Testing for viruses and infectious diseases
Patients must be tested for viruses and infectious diseases prior to any treatment at our clinic.
