Elusi's mother is a native of Gdynia. They live in Germany, but came to Poland for treatment. Before that, they fought for five years to have a child abroad. They only succeeded in Poland. What was their recipe for happiness? We introduce you to little Elusia and a short story about how she came into the world.

The girl's mother: When our efforts to have a baby were not working, we started research. In Germany it took as long as five years, in Poland it would certainly have been quicker. It turned out that I had ovulation problems. I took medication, but it didn't help. We live in the northern part of Germany and there we went to a clinic that deals with infertility treatment. The centres there are much more conservative and due to private matters we could not proceed with IVF. We made the decision to come to my home town of Gdynia. When the doctor at InviMed qualified us for IVF, we decided not to procrastinate. My husband is quite a bit older than me, time passes quickly, and we had already waited five years anyway. The decision was made. The embryologists managed to obtain three embryos. I was given two, one of which turned out to be a hit! We now have a wonderful, healthy and smiling daughter.

What advice do I have for others? It is not worth waiting for the final bell to ring. It is known that it is an individual decision, but the hope that it will come out naturally, the constant combining can lull the vigilance and then it may be too late. If stumbling blocks appear, further tests are abnormal then it is better not to wait, not to think.
