'No one can tell me it can't be done'.
My name is Ania, I am 36 years old and I have a child from IVF. If you are reading what I have written, you may be thinking about IVF. I will tell you briefly - it is a waste of every minute. Try it, it worked for me.
We had been trying for a baby for 11 years. We did ovulation tests, took temperatures, tried insemination, acupuncture, took medication. But you've probably read about the possibilities yourself or tested most of them. Trials, efforts, medications, unconventional medicine, holidays, a healthy lifestyle and nothing. In January 2014, I said enough. I would do anything to have a baby. My husband is often away on business trips, also my only concern was balancing his work and treatment. Our first visit was to InviMed in Bydgoszcz, where we were informed about the IVF procedure, the necessary paperwork and tests, most of which were done on site. With the results, we were referred to the InviMed clinic in Gdynia. Dr Makowska instructed in detail how everything would proceed. And it began. We were given medication, my husband donated sperm, and the tests continued over the next few months. (Don't worry, your husband doesn't have to be as frequent a visitor to the clinic as you do, if that's an obstacle). What was difficult? The fact that the test results were good, the pregnancy was still not there. We went through eight embryo transfers, the ninth one didn't have the expected result either. The reason I made the tenth appointment was because I decided not to give up. I now have a wonderful 15-month-old son. He is the most precious treasure in my life.
What would I change? I would certainly have opted for IVF sooner. Because wanting is being able to. It's a 2-hour drive from my home to Gdynia. I did some of the tests at their facility, some at my home in the city to avoid taking time off. I was sure it would be useful after the birth. My husband has only been to the clinic three times. His work didn't allow him to visit more often, and we reconciled everything anyway. No one can tell me it can't be done!!! It is possible and you have to want to move on, to act while we are young. Before I decided on a clinic I read, asked and went to several. InviMed - this is where I felt like meeting friends, I could call anytime I had a question or problem. Believe it, I used this option quite often.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, I'm sure you will succeed too. And even if you don't, which I doubt, when you look in the mirror and at your other children you will be able to say you did everything.
