Action "Dad - the most important word for a man".

As we do every year, we decided to join the campaign "Dad - the most important word for a man!" organised by the Our Stork Association. Each Invimed clinic offered free vouchers for an extended semen test. All men who are planning to become a dad are welcome to sign up!

Since 2010, the Association for the Treatment of Infertility and Support of Adoption 'Our Stork' has been organising a nationwide social campaign aimed at breaking the stereotypes of seeing infertility as an exclusively female problem and spreading knowledge about infertility as a social disease.

This year's edition was supported by a total of 47 infertility treatment centres, donating a pool of 900 free semen tests for patients.

Invimed Clinics has been supporting the 'Dad' campaign since its inception. This year also.

In 2024, we have donated another pool of free extended semen tests for patients. In this way, we want to support men's efforts in their journey towards fatherhood. We are all the more eager to share information about the campaign through our channels to encourage men to get tested, and to raise awareness and remind them that the problem of infertility affects women and men equally. It is always a couple trying to have a child and the journey through infertility is also a couple's journey.

MEN, don't delay - get your fertility tested

What does an enhanced semen examination involve?

Extended semen examination (a.k.a. seminogram or spermiogram) is one of the first and basic tests performed in the diagnosis of a couple who have been trying unsuccessfully to have a child for a long time.

It is used to assess sperm quality, sperm count and sperm activity based on standards set by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 2010.
