The law, submitted to the Sejm as a civic project and allowing for public funding of IVF treatment, was signed by President Andrzej Duda in mid-December 2023.

The announcements indicate that the new Programme will come into force as early as 1 June this year. The Ministry of Health will soon start work on the preparation of the Programme.
