The qualification of couples applying for co-financing of infertility treatment by the in vitro method will be based, among other things, on medical criteria. A team has been set up at the Ministry of Health to develop them, which will prepare a list of conditions to be fulfilled in order to obtain a subsidy for in vitro treatment from the state budget. The work will be carried out until 29 March this year.

The state's IVF funding programme is due to start as early as 1 June 2024.
