Vaginal Narrower perineal muscle lifting threads

Lifting of stretched perineal muscles after childbirth with the use of innovative Vaginal Narrower lifting threads is a minimally invasive, safe procedure aimed at women who are affected by the problem of an excessively wide vaginal entrance (usually the result of natural childbirth and an incision and subsequent suturing of the perineum). An excessively 'loose' vaginal entrance promotes abrasions and superinfections in the external genital area, in addition to reducing the quality of sexual life. With the use of Vaginal Narrower lifting sutures, defects in the vaginal and perineal areas can be eliminated and the sensation during sexual intercourse can be improved.

Indications for perineal muscle lift:

  • Prolapse of the reproductive organs - occurs when the muscles, ligaments and tendons are weakened and do not properly support the vagina or uterus;

  • wide vaginal entrance;

  • Postnatal perineal defects of anatomical-functional nature.

Course of perineal muscle lift

Perineal muscle lift using Vaginal Narrower threads involves the insertion of one or two lifting threads through 4-6 small and shallow skin incisions in the perineal area. The Vaginal Narrower threads are so-called anchor threads, equipped with special hooks arranged in two directions - once placed within the subcutaneous tissue and perineal muscles, the threads are knotted, causing the desired lifting effect.

The perineal muscle lift is performed under local anaesthesia and the patient can go home immediately after the procedure - there is no need to stay in hospital. The best time to perform the procedure is during the first half of the menstrual cycle.

For the first few days after the procedure, one should lead a quiet lifestyle, avoid exertion and not have intercourse for a week. Until the next menstrual period arrives, the woman should use intimate hygiene products with disinfectant properties.

The risk of complications following surgery with lifting threads is very low and complications are usually harmless (infection or haemorrhage).

Effects of perineal muscle lift using Vaginal Narrower threads

The lifting thread procedure has an immediate effect: it results in a narrowing of the vaginal entrance, improves the appearance of the intimate areas and increases a woman's comfort. Vaginal Narrower threads induce a fibrotic response, which means that even after they are absorbed, the desired muscle tone persists for a long time (even for several years).

The greatest benefits of the perineal muscle lift procedure are:

  • greater comfort and improved vaginal and perineal function;

  • improving the appearance of the vaginal entrance;

  • reducing the risk of developing abrasions and infections of the intimate area;

  • improving sexual experience;

  • short healing time;

  • long-lasting effect.
