The effectiveness of infertility treatment depends on a number of factors: the age of the patient and her partner, the reasons why they are experiencing difficulties getting pregnant, and the quality of the gametes (ova and sperm) used for fertilisation. Treatment of infertility
The doctors in charge of couples at the infertility clinics are doctors with a specialisation in gynaecology-obstetrics. They are the ones who keep their finger on the pulse and refer the patient or patient for additional consultations if necessary. Along with the gynaecologist, other doctors are also involved in the treatment of infertility, such as a urologist/andrologist, endocrinologist or immunologist.
