Who can benefit from the city's IVF subsidy programmes?

Please note that the requirements of individual programmes may vary. 

Health requirements

  • the patient has had at least 12 months of documented, unsuccessful treatment
  • or there is, according to current medical knowledge, no chance of becoming pregnant by means other than in vitro fertilisation

Formal requirements

  • the couple is married or in a civil partnership
  • the partners are residents of and/or pay taxes in a city which operates a programme to subsidise in vitro fertility treatment

1. you will be creating a family together, therefore at the visit you should both appear.

2. take with you a copy of the medical records (medical history, results of infertility treatment tests, information sheets, descriptions of treatments).

3. don't forget to bring your identity papers (identity card, passport).
